Europe Blog # 7: Estonia
We left Stockholm's sunny crisp weather (60 degrees). Weather then changed to the 40's-50's, rain and wind. There was even some ice floating by the ship. Puddles of rain water on top of the ship's atrium cover started to freeze.
Enjoying relaxing breakfast and lunch inside the ships main dining room - and being served. There was no eating outside.
Tallinn, Estonia is off the beaten path. However, the country is well known for it's technical designs/expertise i.e. Skype.
Cute trams operate throughout Tallinn
Also the town is keeping intact it's medieval architecture.
We assume the town has been used many times as a backdrop for period movies.Tallinn is a real walled city
Wandering through the older parts of the town is always fun

Tallest building in Old Town. Historically, it was used as a lookout, a meeting place and a reference in terms of distance to other parts of the countryside.
