                                Travel blog # 7 Hiroshima

                    Shukukeien Gardens and Hiroshima Castle

The day begins with local entertainment on the dock

A young woman dressed in a formal kimono visited the garden along with her mother and father. Our guide suggested it might have something to do with pre-wedding photos.
The young woman was kind enough to pose for a photo.
We noticed that many garden fences are made from bamboo tied together with cord
The garden is relatively close to Hiroshima castle. The shogun would often spend time in the garden to relax and perhaps, meditate.
Jerry took many pretty pictures. It was difficult to decide which ones to put into our blog.
