Getting ready to watch “Cliff Divers” made famous many years ago in USA by “Wide World of Sports” (ABC)

Swan dive

Divers may start at nine years old. Fifty-four year-old just retired. This sport may be multi-generational. It's a way to earn a living.

Team diving

Reaching the highest dive point requires climbing barefoot on slippery (and jagged) rocks

The depth is 12-15 feet depending on tides. Divers carefully plan their approach. Injuries are possible if divers miscalculate.

Tacos, rice and beans and maybe an egg is an inexpensive breakfast

Plenty of interesting things to buy, or not…

Local fruit vendor. "Yes, we have no bananas!"

Over the years when our children were young, Jerry purchased shoes and cowboy clothes from this chain store. It’s been around for years!
